Austria Salzburg Müllnersteg

Captured during a full moon, this cityscape offers a stunning view of Salzburg's "Altstadt" and "Festung" at blue hour, showcasing the city's charming riverside qualities. The shot was taken from the center of the bridge, using the railing as a makeshift tripod. Timing during the day is key for the perfect shot.

Use a wide-angle lens and go down to the ground with the camera. Several photographers shoot this from the pedestrian bridge, but I opted for the very end of the bridge on stable ground given the long shutter exposure time used, and the bridge does sway/wobble with the number of people crossing, leading to minor camera shake even with a tripod.

Walk. Plenty of angles and spots to capture the city at night.
