Kyrgyz Republic Camping in Sary-Jaz valley

The Sary-Jaz Valley has a charm all of its own. The vastness of the tranquil landscape with the Tien Shan Mountains and its snowy peaks, some of which are over 6000 meters high, in the background is hard to take your eyes off. Here you can enjoy a special tranquillity in untouched nature. Neither other cars nor airplanes pass by here.

Test the perspectives and be creative with the placement of objects. Here, for example, the car is placed in the water to create a contrast, which would not have been possible on the differently lit grass.

Have a valid flight license with you.

Located off the beaten path, only a few kilometers from the Chinese border away you need to have a really good 4x4 car for this spot. It is so important to have an experienced driver who knows the area. You should also always make sure you have enough fuel (extra canister) and all the tools you need to get yourself out of the mud if you get stuck.

You can camp anywhere on site or ask the few individual nomads if you can spend the night there.

As you will pass two military posts, you will need a special permit for the area, which you must apply for in advance from the government or a tourism provider!
