Photography Tips
Best for sunrise as the sun rises behind the island and mountains in the background. Bring some ND filters and a tripod to get some long exposures too :) Quite often water in the lake stands still giving you beautiful reflections. Sunset is ok from this location but sunrise is the time to be here. It's good to be here 90 minutes before sunrise to get some night shots with the church to lighten up.
Travel Information
You can walk to the location around the lake or drive the car as there is a parking lot near by (look at the map) There is a machine which you can use to purchase parking tickets. Out of summer season parking is free at night till 8 or 9 am. BEWARE !!! During the day there might be people selling parking tickets but their tickets are only valid for 12 hours. The same price ticket from the machine is valid for 24 hours.
