The beautiful beach alongside Pwani Mchangani town. There are a lot of different possible motives, especially local fishing boats (ngalawa) stranded in low tide and birds walking in the water. Beware that there is a high and low tide. During low tide, the sea retreats several hundred meters and it is possible to walk on the beach and even go to the "coral" reef's edge.

Photography Tips

The best time for photography here is during the sunrise, but only when there is a low tide, when the boats are stranded and standing still.

Travel Information

There are a lot of hotels and resorts nearby, or you can take a local taxi or a minibus (dala dala) to the town of Pwani Mchangani. From there it is only a short walk to the beach.
