A great view of the sunset from the Thames Barrier across towards the O2 arena and the financial district of Canary Wharf.

Use "The Photographers Ephemeris" for the sunset time and position, the best position for the sunset is in the early spring when the sun sets behind the skyscrapers. The Barrier itself can be photographed as the sun begins to set, the barrier being silver gives some great reflections.
