USA Havasu Falls
This is the classic picture of Havasu Falls right from the trail - no extra hiking required. The water is green/blue from the high amount of lime in the water.
Photography Tips
Shooting in the later afternoon - almost dusk. You can start early as the falls is in a canyon so very little direct light. Use graduated filters to slow the shutter speed - and a tripod.
Travel Information
This is a good way off the beaten path. You can hike in from the parking lot - about 10 miles. Or pay $85 for a helicopter flight to the town of Supai. From Supai it is another 3 miles or so to the falls. There is a campground at the falls. From here waterfalls are accessible up or down stream for several miles.
